I suppose this is how it is for the majority of players. We also live in some distance to eachother. Then you are somewhat lucky but my friends have not much time like myself because we have family. Also I find splitscreen gaming more fun in general, because of the laughs and fun had with real life friends, and it also allows me to play with my friends who don't play video games at all, or those who don't play video games on the pc. Since my computer is a laptop, I can easily take it, plug in a projector or TV, & use 4 wireless xbox 360 controllers and BAM - insta splitscreen console experience, but portable.
